MEW Modeling
Developed a numerical model for melt electrowriting that treats the jet and deposited fibers as interacting charges on a cylindrical collector, predicts fiber deflection and misalignment, and guides process windows for reliable tubular scaffolds.
Parametric Study of CFRP Milling
Studied CFRP milling with pre-worn PCD tools and a gear-shaped workpiece that generates dynamic fiber cutting angles, linking FCA-dependent tool wear to surface defects and mapping how feed and fiber orientation affect surface quality.
National Students Research Training Program
We extended the hot-ice method from simple directional pores to fully 3D hydrogel channels and applied them to seawater desalination by molding a hydrogel block as the core of an evaporator, improving evaporation efficiency.
